Salsa Macha · Nuts & Seeds Chili Oil

Salsa macha is the salsa that doesn't act like one. No tomato, no vinegar.. just chiltepin, nuts, seeds, and oil, toasted low and slow until everything turns deep and dark.

Ours is built on Sonoran chiltepin, hand-harvested by chiltepineros who understand this pepper down to the soil it prefers, blended with cacahuate and ajonjolí the way it's been done in Mexican kitchens for generations. The result is crunchy, nutty, smoky, and hot in layers instead of all at once.

Spoon it over eggs, tacos, ramen, roasted vegetables, vanilla ice cream (trust), grilled meats, tostadas. The oil carries the flavor into everything it touches.

This is the jar people get obsessed with. Fair warning.. it doesn't last long.
